The pills last 30 mins each, so that would be 90 mins.

But they are physically gone after 60 minutes. If they asked how long would the effects of the pills last for, it would have been different.

I'm with Mick because they said 'how long will the tablets LAST'? They would "last" 30 minutes each. If they'd said how long before they are all swallowed or something like that, then it would be sixty...
...so you can all take one point off and Mick & I can have one added!
I also had no idea about the 'innings' question! I still don't know what sport they are talking about even after seeing the answer

Used to use something almost identical when I taught at Lancaster & Morecambe Collage over ten years ago, it was useful with teenagers in teaching them to read the question at least twice.
Some still didn't get it.
Got 10, as I havent a clue with the yank based trip and guessed one!

Baseball has 3 out per team in an innings. Answer being 6 with the obvious answer being 3.
The pills one I thought the same as you but then remembered they're all trick questions so it wouldn't be the obvious one.

the doctor tells you to take one pill every half hour but he does not tell you how long they last .so after 60 minutes you have none left.

So if you are a drug mule, who swallows a condom of coke, you can claim that because the drug has been swallowed its no longer "in your possession"?
