Yesterday my dream died. After 12 months of my players giving me and the fans everything, they gave up. Their contracts were lengthened, their wages were doubled, and their egos were inflated. Somehow, we managed to get Wes Morgan and Rob Huth to play consistently well for a season. This year they’ve played like your famous English comedy duo, The Chuckle Brothers. Danny Drinkwater has been lost without Kante. It’s almost as if he isn’t actually that good. As for Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy, they may as well have f*****d off with N’Golo. Don’t even get me started on the owners. They walked around the pitch on the last day of the season like they’d won the title themselves, and now it’s my fault we’re s**t. Christian Fuchs is nothing more than a banter merchant. Ungrateful t**s.
Claudio Ranieri

Possibly that's what he is really thinking but the guy has dignity and I thought the statement he put out was excellent. In all probability it will make the Leicester fans even more angry towards the board and possibly the players than if he had put out a statement full of bitterness and anger.

I agree Steve Mfc. He has handled his shabby treatment with great dignity. Board and players deserve to be reviled by the fans.

I'm a bit pissed off because they might now stay up, they were heading down.

The LCFC players need to look at themselves in a mirror. They have let Claudio Ranieri down this season.

He should have left at the end of last season as they were never going to defend their amazing championship win. They all had one good season and now it's back to their usual relegaton fight! I for one now hope they do get relegated though. Will be interesting if a new manager can get better results out of the" superstar players" still there as he can't get any new players now. Is this the start of the curse of winning the Premier League? The last 2 managers to win it haven't lasted the following season!!

I bet every neutral who wanted them to win the Premiership and rejoiced when they did, will now be hoping they go down. Tossers (the owners that is!)

A banter merchant is a polite way of saying a bullshitter. Someone who talks a good job but....
