Some suggested we paid the staff before HMRC but the Board took the decision not to put the club in danger of a winding up order, for me that was the correct action which may in the long run have been a move that has gone a long way in maintaining the good name of the club in the eyes of the authorities.

Obviously not popular with many but in my view the correct one.

Neil. You get a lot of criticism for some of your posts, a lot of it unwarranted. However you really don't help yourself. I've seen no posts suggesting staff get paid ahead of HMRC. None. Probably because it wasn't clear who was paying any of those bills or whether they'd even been paid. There's no evidence the board were even making decisions over payments.

Then you compound your pointless brown-nosing of the board and criticism of fans by moving from 'some' to ''many', again without any evidence whatsoever. It's also abject nonsense. Who is the board or the ones making the decisions on payments? Diego? Burnard? Abdullah? Rod? PMG? Christie the Cat? Bearing in mind we've one company in administration it is hardly going swimmingly.

Didn't Cala allege that the club received some FL or TV money and decided to pay HMRC first? Think it was one of his comments while he was around and saying the entire board should resign :o

There may not be many supporters there tonight but we will ALL be right behind them ! :D

Whoever it was that made the decision to pay H.M.R.C. last month rather than pay the players and Globe staff their wages made a big mistake.

On the face of it, I would agree

I know , I deal with HMRC on behalf of clients every day of the week.

But assuming we have a decent brief , he would have said at the hearing that the club was in the process of being taken over , then the judgement would have been set aside and put back to a later hearing at which time funds should be available.

By not paying the staff it means that's the club is dependent on the goodwill of the players etc to be able to continue trading.

I stand by my comments.

If you don't pay your staff , your business folds much quicker than if HMRC try and bring an action in the courts. Fortunately Abdul chipped some money into the pot and both HMRC and the staff were paid :D

"Chipped some money in" amongst friends usually means a fiver, tenner or fifty quid if you are lucky.

We are talking £400,000.00 here and the coffers need replenishing already.

This is typical CC. Moaning about people suggesting paying HMRC first when it was HIM agreeing with it.

He changes his opinion on everything just to suit how he is feeling on the day. I don't want to jump on the guy but his posts are a joke. I wish I could block his posts but it would make viewing topics with him in difficult.

So you've never changed your mind or opinion on anything, just stuck to your same views and opinions irrespective whether the facts or circumstances have changed.....get real :!: :!: :!:

And for what it's worth I still maintrain that some SVers actually did suggest a preference for paying HMRC first ....
