Comfortable 3-1 win in the end after a great first half.
Jack Dunn was shocking for Tranmere. Selfish at every turn and played for himself before skying everything.
Cole Stockton was pretty anonymous and Scott Davies made one superb save.
Despite the longer journey just glad we don't have to go to Prenton Park again. Horrible lot.

I hope Luton and Exeter go through to the League 2 play-off final.
The big gates against Carlisle and Blackpool are needed and maybe one of them will be Boxing Day instead of Mansfield !

Small farm in Gloucester, you're just a small farm in Gloucester...
Well done to them. Good to see another small club reach the big time!

I agree with Posh with horrible lot. That day I still remember them coming to the away end looking for trouble. Long journey but nice to see a new team in the football league. New ground to visit. Congratulations FGR.

Thinking purely of the finances of our club, Tranmere and its travelling 'thugs' would have swelled the gate BUT the cost of extra police would have probably taken a fair chunk of that extra revenue.
However really am pleased for FGR but with the money their Chairman has out into that club (interestingly another owner of an energy company similar to Fleetwood's Chairman's company albeit ''green' energy) I don't think they will be short of fiances like some others I can think of.
Welcome FGR....

For their sake I hope not, they spent nearly £175,000 on agent fees alone.

Anyone put the order in for oxygen tanks and scaling equipment to get up the quite steep hill to get to their ground? Can you get inflatable burgers and sausages to wave at them??

If we've got a new buyer and he's targeting playoffs (big if ) I'd test the water with Tranmere and enquire about Cooke (ex Barrow)

FGR are paying some of their players £5K a week and have had a playing budget over £2M... must be money to be made in this eco energy malarkey.

There'll be money in eco energy until the govt stop the green subsidies, which will undoubtedly happen one day. Until then, it's a nice little earner.
