Who can we get realistically who's available this summer ? Anyone heard of any rumours on who might be coming and re-signing next season. We usually announce one or two this time of year !

We usually rely on YOU for that sort of information , has Tom,Dick and Harry been filled in.

Nah....I won't steal your thunder matey....

HOWEVER I do want a strong spine..ie a dominant centre back, a ball winning with height centre midfielder and a beast of a centre forward.....not much eh...

after this horrible season(off the field) just gone I think the staff deserve a good break away from football, I don't expect any activity for a few weeks yet.

Wouldn't mind an experienced striker. Chris Porter born in Wigan, now out of contract at Colchester. Scored 16 last season. Think he would give us that experience at 33 along with Paul Mullin. With money being tight he may well be out of our price range with wages though. Hoping we can have somebody like him to keep us in the league. The others Jim has offered contracts hopefully sign up we stand a chance of getting through this current bad patch for next season.

Jim says in the Visitor article about re-signing Thommo that 2 players have verbally agreed to re-sign for the Shrimps , talks are ongoing with a couple more and he thinks a couple may move on.

Adam Phillips, garstang lad just released by Liverpool?
