Not quite sure what this Plymouth sponsorship is all about but could it be the fans contributing towards the sponsorship of our former PoY Ryan Edwards... :?: :?: :?:

If so what a superb gesture by their fans to raise money for their club.

Maybe something we could be doing, over and above that raised in player sponsorship at the recent Sponsorship evening at The Globe.

:D :D :D

Not quite an even field though is it, they have a regular crowd 6 times as big as ours and their fan base is probably 10 times more than that.

With 1200 home fans attending games, I really wonder what we expect sometimes :(

Where do we think any money comes from?

(Apart from Abduls £1M that has kept us going for a bit)

Absolutely right Mark. I often wonder at the hope and expectations of football fans. Hope is fine but expectations can lead to disappointment and even bitterness sometimes.

Not an evenfield I agree, but surely it's the gesture of helping in the sponsorship that matters NOT the actual amount raised..... :?: :?: :?:

Can you not sponsor a player at the Gala draw CC? You could put your hands in your pockets and sponsor Flemmo for the season.

Lets hope there are some players signed up for people to sponsor at the Gala Draw.

I understand Mick Horton the secretary has been in quite often this week which is usually a sign of player contract activity.
