JB on Saturday evening

Just to let you know a little bit more about the character of our manager. At the Gala Dinner on Saturday evening, a guest, a good supporter of the club, was taken ill. Jim insisted on accompanying him & his wife in the ambulance to the RLI. Jim remained at the hospital with them until after 4am and the gentleman was discharged a little later. Jim wouldn't want this posting but I feel it important that the fans are aware of his actions.

The man just keeps proving he is MFC to the core. Legend.

I might challenge some of his tactics but as a person and an ambassador for our club and town he's outstanding and a credit to his family....and he deserves all the credit and plaudits going.

And I'm quite sure that there are many other examples of things that JB has done for individuals and others connected to MFC that we don't know about. A totally admirable man, but the way that fans rallied round to pay his £1000 fine last season suggests that quite a few suspect this to be the case.
Thanks Rod for letting us know about this - hope JB doesn't pick on you for doing so!!!
MFC - a family club with a manager that is a major part of that family.

It is a scaffolding company so at least they can put their own signage up.....
Jim is an absolute Legend. People have had knighthoods for less than he does

In an era of greed and self-interest, Jim is the perfect antidote. Cracking bloke who will always be loved at MFC.

Firstly, I wish the guy who was taken ill a very speedy recovery.
As for Jim, a true gent and a great ambassador for the club and the town. We're a family club, always have been. Jim understands that and I reckon this kind of act will be remembered and talked about for years to come.
The word legend gets bandied about far too often. Yet for this man, who gives his heart and soul to our club time and time again, it is truly fitting.

Jimbo is a top bloke. We should all be thankful that he's our manager and a fine example.
All you can ask is for a genuine hard working boss.
I'd say Jim fits that to a tee.

Anyone seen the name on the stand yet?
