Exeter have sold a player for a whopping £1.8million. Makes you wonder if they used the same Broker we did when we flogged Barky to PNE?

Their player would be on a contract lasting at least another year , maybe more , and it wouldn't be a forced sale to pay the wages bill.

Ollie Watkins to Brentford. Deal could end up with £3m to Exeter if he moves to a Premiership club.
Makes the PNE deal for Barks ....probably peanuts...

That's beacause Exeter aren't in the mire, desperate for cash with no money to pay wages.
As a result they are in a strong bargaining position, exactly the opposite tomus, at the time.

Exeter must have been jumping for joy with their £1.5M 3 years ago, then Brentford get £28M. When you look at some of the £50M donkeys in the Premiership, he's a bargain

No but they’ll still be entitled to any payments received from the government/premier league,
unless you have to apply for it ?
And they may decide not to claim ?

Just read that the minstermen are about to get about 2.5 mil from the sale of Ben Godfrey to Everton from Norwich,
they had a 10% sell on any profit Norwich made on the 150k they paid York for him
Wonder how much we had in Leifs sell on, prem league appearances, promotion etc.
