Good afternoon. My name is Michael and I run a public house in Barnsley situated 2 minutes from junction 36 of the m1 and 2 miles from oakwell . I'm messaging in relation to the cup match vs Barnsley on Tuesday 8th august and to invite your away support to use this pub as a hub on the night. Please let me know if this is of interest to you or if there is anyone else I could contact in regards to this? Cheers

Hi guys it's called the ship inn, its in worsbrough, postcode is s705ba. We have a fair amount of away fans every year and as I say you are more than welcome. If there's some idea of numbers I can organise some food to be ready for when you arrive.
Cheer,
Michael

We have a great record in this competition - which has produced some of the more memorable and impressive results since being a FL club, beating the likes of Preston (away), Blackpool (away), Coventry City (home), Wolves (home and away) and Barnsley (away) - I bet the directors wish we could transfer this form into the more lucrative FA Cup!

I really like the format of the competition in addition to the above it has allowed us to visit Bramall Lane, Stadium of Light, The New Den, Oakwell, Molineux and The City Ground (grounds I didn't think I'd ever visit with Morecambe) whilst hosting Burnley, Newcastle United and Bournemouth - three sides now in the Premier League.

Still unsure if I can make the game on Tuesday - If I go it will be a mad rush from Lancaster at 17:15ish going through Manchester and the M62. Likelihood of making kick off? I was gutted that I missed Rotherham away last year, especially when we got the win in dramatic circumstances.
