''Home'' end at fylde.

A nice stadium with excellent facilities ,particularly the fans bar and terrace, a few clangers in there like an italian restaurant , fake marble, and patronising slogans everywhere, bit OTT.........but my biggest gripe if I were a home supporter would be the total lack of anything at all regarding a home end, an open terrace with no facilities , I imagine every game feels like an away match .

The bars at the front are good and put our "Shrimps Grill" to shame. But I much prefer The Globe. The open ends on the grandstand are ok in the current weather but I would imagine the wind will blow through in Winter. As mentioned the home end leaves a bit to be desired regarding facilities.
Their "carwash" stand is better in that it has a cover.

I went to Fylde v Kidderminster in March this year and was in the main stand.
I was sat a few rows back and got soaked as the rain came down.
Having said that, the same can happen at the Globe in the PMG when it rains.

Yes it can when the wind blows in that direction , but our closed sides protect the punters from the worst of the elements.

Tidy compact ground but wouldn't like to be inside it if it can hold 6,000! Fortunately by the look of it there is plenty of room for development in a few years when they get nearer the top of the Conference. Could be a ground we will be re-visiting sooner than we would like to! :o

The home dressing room and players facilities would match any premier clubs , and put some to shame, a replication of Man Citys apparently, the boxes etc are ridiculously opulent , their hospitality lounge bar modelled on one in a top vegas casino, totally OTT given that the main stands seating cant be more than 2000 fans including ''VIP's''.
