Players in the 'shop window'

Wigan's new manager Paul Cooke has evidently informed a couple of his squad that they will not feature in any of his team selections between now and the close of the transfer window which sounds to me that they will be allowed to leave to seek their fortunes elsewhere.

Maybe as we are short in both the midfield and forward departments, we could offer them a temporary shop window for them to show what they can do rather than stagnate doing nothing at all. They have even been banned from training with the first team squad having to resort to training on their own.

Midfielder Max Power andstriker Omar Bogle are the players concerned.

We'll probably struggle to compete with the host of Championship clubs that are lining up to sign both players.

Permanent deal ...totally agree.....BUT let's just suppose that neither get sorted, they may look towards some kind of month to month deal to put them selves in the shop window.

I understand that a lot of seasoned pros will be taking what they can get as the season draws ever so nearer. Jimbo said as much in a recent interview and we may benefit from such circumstances.
