v Kendal Wednesday 2 August Final score

v Kendal Wednesday 2 August Final score

Postby Christies Child » Sun Jul 30, 2017 1:11 pm

Just a reminder that our younger lads ( :?: ) have a game away to Kendal on Wednesday night KO 7.30.

It'll be a good chance to see some of the Academy and Development Squad players in action with a view for their progression to contractual status in seasons to come.

:)

4-4

Baz was in goals for the first 45.
Team included 5 of our younger squad players with Reece Deakin scoring twice and looking the best of our lot.
Rod Taylor was there plus a few of our regular fans.
Kendal where very workmanlike and didn't allow our lads many opportunities to dictate the game but we did look threatening on a number of occasions.

An enjoyable match , end to end , 8 goals shared.

Reece Deakin was head and shoulders the best man on the pitch and takes a mean left footed free kick.

Baz certainly a surprise selection, after being told 4 to 6 weeks out, is he in contention for a start on Saturday, or maybe place on the bench
