Have a look at the club's twitter feed for the goalkeepers diving in the water on Turners Field training ground.
Obviously we've got major on-going problems once again regarding the training ground and it's only just August.

To be fair it did lash it down a few times this morning, with many local roads and gardens becoming temporary lakes. Most of it will have soaked away by now...

My allotment is beside the training ground and was still partly under water this afternoon.
I wouldn't say the photos are inductive of anything other than the fact there was a lot of rain last night.
It's not the first time you've mentioned supposed issues at the training ground, but you not sure what you think the problems are.

Neil,
You do talk a load of tripe at times, usually I won't respond but on this occasion I feel compelled to do so. It was only last week that Ken was asking about the feasibility of some kind of irrigation system for Turner's Field, as it was very dry. We have invested heavily with time and money over the past few years on that site and improved it massively, although knowing that area for 50 odd years it will always hold some water in places after heavy rain. Last night there was an exceptional deluge, with roads cut off this morning. Why do you have to overreact to a very simple, temporary situation. Running the football club flags up problems every day and we just get on and deal with them. RT

You could have just left it there and saved all that extra typing.
P.S. I'll have a towel. If only to wipe up the mess of this thread.

I used to love Diving on a muddy and drenched field lol, no chance of that over here !!. BTW I am available if there is a keeper crisis!!!!!!. My current resume, the oldest player on our team playing in the Eastern Suburbs over 45 comp!.
Last Sunday I played with with the All Age group 7 team, kept a clean sheet in a tough 0-0 draw.
Rod, if you read this, I only fly business class.
Quick edit: I have to admit that after a game on Sunday, I can hardly walk until Tuesday!.

I stopped taking my kids to the beach because it flooded twice a day. Bloody useless council, not keeping it dry.

I think we'd all love you to respond on SV more often. It shows the "human" face of the Board. I'm sure Neil has taken it in good faith. Feel free to come on here whenever you can spare a few minutes.

Funny thing is ..... whilst PMG was in day to day control of the club , prior and during the period he was ruining it, CC had his tongue right up the chairmans arse crack whilst berating our management at the same time, CC looked like he'd fooled everyone with ''towelgate''.....not me though , not for one second.

Never having personally placed a bet on a horse in my life, maybe it's time I had a flutter...
