Second week running when there has been little discussion about the game or Jimbo's comments.

Just got back and have now listened to it....
Just my opinion...

I can't remember an away game where all our fans were quiet (apart from a lot of swearing)... even on a hot day we didn't even start a rendition of Bring me Sunshine...

Still can't decide if it's the seemingly lethargic attitude on the pitch that sets the tone - we were literally timewasting in the first 10 minutes!

Really missed Oliver up front, the wing backs just didn't and for most of the time our 75 year old partnership up front just didn't work.

Alex seemed out of sorts in a back 3 and their No.9 was taking the p!$h..

Not keen on Rosey taking every throw in, corner and free kick either - mix it up a bit please...

Said during the game it was a mirror image of Lincoln - how they didn't score a sack load I don't know, having said that, Thommo missed a sitter towards the end and could have/should have won it

It seems that even with a shortage of strikers, Adam still can't get a game

Yes, Bill it was boring for long spells, but maybe the pro term for it is digging in...

Thankful for the away clean sheet and a point, Crawley were rock bottom on zero points and they went to Swindon and won 3.0 - I can't see the 2 crap sides that we rely on yet - every point will be vital..

Ps also the weirdest atmosphere after the whistle.... it seemed like most of the players were wandering off, when our 50 odd fans applauded them for their efforts and gradually they came over but there were no cheers and no rendition of Jimboooo - weird

I didn't go to Cambridge but agree that that the wing back system doesn't work all that well. And why isn't Campbell starting?

I am surprised how little time on the pitch Adam Campbell has had so far.

Jim seems to fancy Turner above Campbell and when he did get on the pitch v Swindon, it was a centre Mid.

The last time we saw some regular excitement at home was when Mullin and Jevons paired up. I would like to see Oliver and Campbell playing together at home and for us to really go at teams.

Never went to the match but coming back with a point from a club who have made 2mill plus to improve there team is a good result,same as Lincoln.Totally agree about the need to attack more,because i thought we let Swindon have a free ride till the last 10mins early days, but 5 good points gained.

Maybe it's time to accept that this isn't going to happen. Jim's priority is not conceding goals. Perhaps the problem is that we are not good enough to 'really go at teams' without a big risk of us conceding more than we score.

I can't remember the last time we really had a go at any team at home.

Jim seems to be content with a defensive performance and depends on breakaways for our goal attempts.

V Swindon Jim actuallky thought we warranted at least a point....for me unless you attack and go for goals then you'll get nowt....

Maybe someone can explain why we take a goal scoring midfielder on loan from Fleetwood and he remains on the bench. No doubt he'll start tomorrow but with no sign of goals coming from elsewhere can't see the point of taking a loanee just to sit on the bench...to date.

Absolutely accept this and to be able to bring Ibehre on as a sub sums this up, BUT on the day they were really not many £££ better than us with their billy big bollox attitude. I just wish we could go in to a game believing in ourselves rather than worrying toooo much about the opposition and how much they've spent.

Interesting how seriously we take tomorrow and how we will set up on Saturday

.....and with the transfer window closing in a few days time, could it be that we debut a new strike force on saturday, or as I suspect is any new incomer likely to be a member of some development squad elsewhere.

Interestingly that a Radio Accrington (NOT Dan Jewel ) reporter suggested recently that game time for a number of Blackpool strikers who played last season can't get a look in this season and maybe 'pool AND the players concerned ( ie Philliskirk, Matt and Delfouneso ) could be open to a move further up the coast to put themslves in the shop window for when the next window opens or even when their contract expires and will be looking for a new contract somewhere at that time.

.... and that was the play off season and our last season at Christie Park 7 years ago


it's still not a bad start this season, hopefully Olivier will be back and somehow I'd like try and find a way of getting somebody exciting like Campbell in the side without unsettling it to much.

on a positive, our defence looks way better than last season and Olivier is the best forward we've had in a long time, he just needs support and the right service, if he wasn't quite fit yesterday then it was sensible resting him for our upcoming home games.

Matt has signed for Grimsby on loan, would have been a decent signing.
