Next few games

Tonight and Saturday are massive games - and winnable, if we can just up it, some players having had a little time to settle in.
A big ask, I know, but we did have more attempts on target on Saturday than in our previous games – and more possession.
Nothing would surprise us, we’ve all followed Morecambe long enough to know we can beat the best and lose to the worst but… win these next two and it would set us up with a bit more confidence going into a run of really tough fixtures (on paper).
Then we have a few that (again on paper) are ones we would naturally have more hope of winning.
Good luck to all those who have travelled down – hope you’re rewarded with a great win COYS!!

Obviously important that we pick up some points in the next couple of games. We also need to start creating and taking chances. Strikers need confidence and at the moment they don't seem to have any. Lets hope the scoring begins tonight at Yeovil!! COYS

Quite windy this evening. Can't remember orientation of Yeovil pitch but, if possible, we need to kick with the wind in the first half and make sure we get some goals. Trying to play catch up is never easy.

doesn't Yeovil's pitch have a slope?

Might be wrong but I think that was the old one.

Yeah, but it sloped sideways, bet some of our players would have loved that

Might not be easy but we did it :D

Just as a matter of interest does anyone know who won the toss?

Olivier makes a difference, hope he's back for Saturday.

Wouldn't think he would play if he got a three match ban for a straight red.
The Newport game is the third one.

Yep. And played well in both.
The positive stats, much as I often dismiss them, are reflecting our improvement.
With the new players starting to gel and form understandings we have looked like a team in those last two games.
Certainly going into our tough run with much more confidence.

So with a much needed win v Newport and Oliver available again after suspension, what would be a realistic points total against the next three opponents?
On paper it looks far from easy.
Away at Stevenage, 11th but only one point off the 7th place play off spot, Home to Luton who are 4th and then away at top of the table Exeter.
I would be happy with a win, a draw and a defeat equals 4 points.

I'll be just happy with 3 points at home against Luton, home form and better attendances for me ££££££.

4 points from the next 3 games would be excellent.

Maybe we could be the team to turn Exeter over like Wembley 2007.

I'll just be happy for anything we can get from these three. With Exeter flying that, on paper, is the hardest but we usually manage something against them down here. The memory of knocking 3 past them a few years back is still quite vivid with me :D
