Decent attacking line up. Now all we need is to go for it from the off :D ...............................and not concede a simple goal

I might have spoke too soon. Audio keeps cutting out, but I'm sure that's on our end (ie. students). I hear I'm not the only one working in IT for a college.

Edit: Not sure I'm going to be able to make this work. I get 15 seconds of commentary then it dies for three minutes. I'll be watching the box score if anyone needs me.

Funniest thing about watching the game was seeing how much gesticulating the luvvies do!   Dom asked Freez a question and his 'shrug' & arms in the air was visible in Canada! (Well, it was if Dr Retro has got the video working!)

Not too bad a first half. They had easily the clearest chance but Barry with a tremendous save. Otherwise, what let us down was some poor decision making in the final third. We had some good breaks with excellent passing but then a poor final ball. Not too far behind Luton though.

All up for it in the second half! COYS!

Ref's basically had a good game, but I've no idea what the free-kick was for when Kev was about to score?

Thought that was a good game. Defended well, they only had one real chance, we had two or three good opportunities, so a decent enough point and clean sheet.

Punch at the front but defence looked good tonight some excellent blocks and tackles.they looked a good side and maybe just shaved it over the 90 but a fair score..very encouraging performance Jim is right we are not getting thrashed by anyone sure we will be ok we played some superb stuff until the final 1\3 rd where seemed to lack any foresight

One of our players pushed a Luton defender in the back before the ball reached Kev.

Ref was excellent.

A good performance v one of the early front runners. We had the majority of scoring opportunities but we still seem unable to capitalise on Vadines heading abilities. Until we play off him and not yards part then for all his excellent work will be wasted.

Such pity that our Wigan loanee couldn't convert the couple of chances he had but it's certainly getting better.

Enjoyed that, certainly not your typical 0-0 draw by any means, excellent work rate from both teams resulting in a end to end entertaining game from start to finish.

In Old and Muller we have the makings of a fine partnership in the centre of defence, the other thing that stood out tonight was the speed that we moved the ball about lots of quick passes and much better movement of the ball certainly a lot better than the two or three touches before playing the ball that we have seen too much of in the past.

We also have strength in depth which we haven't really had for a while, often in the past you would look at the bench and not really see anyone who could change the game but now we have players who not only could change the game but also offer something different tactically.

The bottom line is if we keep performing like we have in the last few weeks then we should not only be safe but we will also start to climb up the league table.

I thought we mixed it well with a big and strong Luton side. We didn't get bullied like we have in the past and put in a real shift to get the point. I think we settled for the point a bit early which is a bit of a let down but saying that, the keeper made a great save from Kev and Lang should have put his header away.

I felt Jim missed a trick tactically as Hylton was playing as a very reluctant left forward and never tracked Lund's runs. If we had really gone at them down the right I think we would have got a goal and tired the very dangerous Hylton out. Good performance watched by a very poor crowd again.

What a cracking game,we certainly gave a skillful and expensive team a fright, with their manager jumping up and down like a demented chicken and if we had scored in the last minute, it would certainly have lifted the roof off.Play games like that and the fans will be back.

Looking at the teams we've played......we've played 8 of the top 12 teams and only 3 of the ones in the bottom half. On that basis, coupled with improved form, wins should start to come (probably after this Saturday)

I don't know. I thoroughly enjoyed last night. For me, it's about the entertainment value, not just whether we win or not. It's the boring/negative games I hate and sadly, there's been far too many of them.

+1
Absolutely agree Ken H.
I have been a Shrimps fan for far too long to expect to win a lot of games (especially at the Globe!)
I am happy to see a game where Morecambe show effort, commitment and passion. The result is a by product for me, although a win is a lovely bonus.
But too many games since 2010 when we moved to the Globe have been poor and passionless.
My Morecambe team is the one that plays with its heart on its sleeve so to speak.
The recent Newport game was great, not only the three points but some determination and passion to see the job through. That is all I ask as a Morecambe fan.
It's the culmination of seven seasons of general mediocrity and lack of atmosphere which has lost so many fans that used to come.
But I believe in the squad this season. I think some good results are just around the corner.

Just want to echo both KenH and Seasonsinthesun, another entertaining performance that argues well going forward.

I must give a mention to Miitchell Lund who replaced McGowan on the right. He was excellent and should by right keep his place in all forthcoming games.

I thought that was a thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable game of football, a great advert for L2!

We matched their pace and also their good quality passing. Luton are clearly a decent side with some good footballing heads. I was a little worried that we wouldn't be able to keep up with the pace of the game, but everyone put a shift in. I thought both teams defended well and so 0-0 was probably the right result (although either team could have nicked it late on).

Really positive performance to take into the weekend.
