The second (better quality) towel is now available in the club shop according to Twitter . Cracking picture of kit man Les on Morecambe beach in his swim trolleys posing with the towel , seem happy about it :lol:

Got mine on Wednesday in time to take away tomorrow. A much better quality as an actual towel.

So if 2 grades of towel were ordered ,what happens to the inferior ones that are left....and why was this done?

Two different products. In fact, I went back and bought one of the others on Saturday too.

The original is a 'beach towel'. It looks good and will go well on a sun lounger.
The new one has the design woven in, and is a better 'real' towel. Great for actually drying yourself.

The 'heavy', 'proper' towel is £8 more expensive. Do you want to pose or dry?

I like them both.

I have the beach towels available in my shop .'' Bayside Emporium '' on the prom, I have sold a few, but have a dozen left, I will no doubt be getting some of the new ones as well

The expensive one is the sort you dry yourself with at home after a shower or bath.

The £17 one is ideal for putting on your sunbed in Barbados to stop the Germans pinching it.
