Ah Rhyl FC .......

Belle Vue......... the memories come flooding back of 2 games I went to there.

1989/90. Colwyn Bay used Rhyl FC as their home ground due to FA of Wales (strange) regulations. We played them in the FA Cup and got walloped 4-0.

A few weeks later we revisited them to actually play v Rhyl and got another tubbing to the tune of 4-0.

However, in the bar after the game Bryan Griffiths managed to get the signatures of Rhyl's Robbie Armstrong and Gary Dullaghan on Morecambe contracts so all was well in the end.....

One of a number of scheduled games for the clubs Development Squad, based on Merseyside I understand.

I understand that we won 1-0 thanks to a penalty.
