Now he and his advisors realise he is joining a team that faces more of a relegation battle rather than a title challenger, he wants to pocket £65million and walk away after a year if the team fails to succeed

Bridge and Bellamy were the kind of players I expected City to be looking at before their takeover. How can they expect to be pushing for higher league places if these are their January signings?
