Shrimps v Wycombe predictions

Shrimps v Wycombe predictions

Postby black morse » Thu Nov 09, 2017 11:45 am

I'm not keen on predicting draws and by this seasons results it should be a Wycombe win. However, with the confidence that should be beginning to build in our team I think we'll at least get a point.

2-2

I don’t like to be negative but I think we will be out gunned by Akinfenwa.

So I’m going for Wycombe to win 2-1

Hes 3 years younger than our top scorer and younger than Thommo, so hes got a bit of life in him yet. Not the most mobile, but has strength and vision.

2nd this

think there's been a lot of positives in the past couple of games, but he's absolute class at L2 level, and at times unplayable, knocks defenders over like a bulldozer.

1-2 loss :|

Tough call again. We seem to be pulling our socks up and performing, but will it be enough?

I remember we got a draw with Wycombe the first time I saw this fixture in a Cup competition at CP a couple of decades ago or so. I believe it was 1-1, with a second half equalizer at the Roseberry Avenue end. So, I'll go with a 1-1 again.
