Not totally unexpected BUT wonder what implications this has for the 'possible' takeover by the individual(s) preferred by the original Board members.

But with Abdul having the majority of the shares (81%) I doubt that he would need the 'new' Board to sanction the sale to his preferred bidder.

Wonder if they have an agreement with Abdul to purchase the shares themselves, giving them the power to sell to whoever they want at some time in the future

I could be wrong and no doubt someone with a greater knowledge of the law will correct me.

It's G50 Holdings, G50 was an unrelated company dissolved a few years ago.

Q: How many shares does Abdul own?
A: 0, zilch, nada, sweet .... all.

The Burnard family are in control and they can sell their majority block of shares to whoever they choose.

From the impression I got when he rocked up last time. Broken English, squatting at the club and the midland, threatening everyone with the sack. The way Rod. Jim and everyone else who came in contact with spoke about him.
