According to his Twitter page, he is due in the UK tomorrow with "things progressing on and off the pitch". Also signed a deal with a Chinese company, the loan that was mentioned recently? Worrying times.

Just hope that the Board and G50 tell him that he's not welcome under any circumstances and that the alternate buyer comes out of the shadows soon... ;)

Would be nice to hear something from the BoD's regarding this man and a potential take over. He(or the people who do his twitter account) clearly think he is going to be buying the club in the near future. He has been like a bad smell hanging about for ages now.

What has the board got to do with a private share sale? G50 can sell to whoever they choose.

Interesting in the FT, signed an agreement with a Dalian Shipyard, and now going to raise money for the Build, seems like its regurgitation of his undersea resort débâcle

Chatting to him earlier, he's in talks with local businesses to supply his underwater empire to be sunk in the bay.

Does he realise that when the tide goes out the underwater empire will be no longer underwater or sunk ;)

I fear the worst. Let's hope he doesn't rock up to all his posh meetings in a Berlingo and squat in the offices.

Might be a blessing in disguise. It might give the powers that be a much-needed push to give the fans an update on ownership by putting this guy's self-promoting rumour mill to bed.

However I'm fully expecting a wall of silence from everyone except Rod...

Could it be that Joseph Cala has been resurrected by those involved in the sale of our club as a means to push any potential legitimate buyers into action. Maybe things had stagnated and weren't moving forward as fast as they may wish.Just thinking like, but I may be totally wide of the mark.

Can't see why Mr Cala should otherwise be interested in a club he has absolutely no connection to and is likely to cost him and his 'backers' serious money to be involved with. All previous evidence also points to him not having a pot to piss in and involvement in failed business schemes which hardly enhance his credibility. He can't do anything with the land due to the trust and I can only think of one other way he could profit from ownership. I wouldn't like to speculate about that because you have to be careful posting thoughts based on unsubstantiated assumptions but if it did happen it would be the end of us as we currently are and would probably happen very quickly.

On the other hand Mr Cala might be a well meaning prospective owner with the best interests of the club at heart. The saga and speculation rumbles on and where it ends nobody yet knows.

COYS.

Maybe the Trust could seek some clarification from the Board as to the current position.

They hopefully have a closer affinity with the Board than the basic fan after all.

Why should the Trust have to drag info from the board? If there's anything that can be said, the board should be saying it direct, assuming G50 tell them what's going on.
