Evidently the Ship Inn is closed but does anybody know if this for holidays or permanently...

Mother in law wanted to go for a Mothers Day meal but looks as though it will have to be cafe at Sainsbury....

Google says permanently closed but if you fancy coming out of retirement, Thwaites are looking for a new tenant

Shame. We had some really good bar meals there last summer.

Too much decorating to do both here in Storth and at my daughters house in Preston....who ever said retirement would be like a permanent holiday was totally wrong. So much to do...

The Blue Mountain is excellent and there is also The Morecambe Hotel getting rave reviews and you might get some gossip from Rod

Get up to the Country Kitchen at Hornsea Pottery. The carvery there is splendid.

I had a lovely meal at The Morecambe Hotel last visit.
Top quality and great service.

Sabai Thai Lancaster is better than blue moon, not appearance wise but food better
