Giving every year 3 primary school pupil in the Hyndburn area a free replica shirt for the next 5 years, fair play to him.

From Lancashire Business Magazine:

"He has been described as Accringtons Abramowich but for Andy Holt life with Stanley is as far away from the glamour of Stamford Bridge as it gets.
The 53 year old local businessman is the accidental football club chairman. He is in the hot seat simply because there was no one else willing to sit there.
"If I hadn't taken over the club it would have closed, someone had to put their hat in the ring. I had no choice, there was no-one else. Had I not done it, it would have gone bust, as simple as that.
My wife said don't do it, my finance director said don't do it, the kids said don't do it, my accountants said don't do it - I ignored them and did it, now weve stopped the rot and turned it around"

Meanwhile Accrington Stanley Community Trusts plans to build a £2M community hub with impressive sports facilities for the town have been given the green light.

"I've turned something that was a disaster zone into something that has a chance. that's good for the town. The Club doesn't belong to me it belongs to the town"

I head twice last weekend, on Soccer Saturday and then Channel 5, that Accy have the joint lowest playing budget of any team in the EFL. I can only hazard a guess at he other team!! I am suprised by this statement given the number of players they have on loan and the size of their squad. It also fails to take into account the large amount of money Andy Holt has pumped into the club to clear their debts and planning a new training facility. I don't think that, over the years, we have had that sort of money to use. If I am wrong apologies to all concerned.

Or we need a Carolyn Radford, CEO at Mansfield Town.

She’s turned a £1 million+ loss into a small profit. A real strategy of marketing, investment and community engagement. Proves it can be done.

She loves It, the players love it and the hubby gets to love it once a month, although Steve Evans didn't fancy it

Occasionally these glamourous ladies have a talent and can be an asset not a hanger on

#MeToo movement will be after you.

Politics degree from Durham and a Masters in Law, and owned two businesses, she’s better qualified than most. Done a great job, although the nepotism issue and simply being a woman in football will always work against her.

My daughter was at school with Amanda Staveley (TRUE). Do you want me to have a word. If she can't buy Newcastle Utd., what about MFC?
