Giving every year 3 primary school pupil in the Hyndburn area a free replica shirt for the next 5 years, fair play to him.

From Lancashire Business Magazine:
"He has been described as Accringtons Abramowich but for Andy Holt life with Stanley is as far away from the glamour of Stamford Bridge as it gets.
The 53 year old local businessman is the accidental football club chairman. He is in the hot seat simply because there was no one else willing to sit there.
"If I hadn't taken over the club it would have closed, someone had to put their hat in the ring. I had no choice, there was no-one else. Had I not done it, it would have gone bust, as simple as that.
My wife said don't do it, my finance director said don't do it, the kids said don't do it, my accountants said don't do it - I ignored them and did it, now weve stopped the rot and turned it around"
Meanwhile Accrington Stanley Community Trusts plans to build a £2M community hub with impressive sports facilities for the town have been given the green light.
"I've turned something that was a disaster zone into something that has a chance. that's good for the town. The Club doesn't belong to me it belongs to the town"
