saw on friday night on BBC North West, that they have the smallest budget in the National League, but are sat on top of that league, proving it can be done with a small budget, as have Accy !

Stability in the boardroom and a good chairman/owner is very important.

Mmmm.
I have no idea with the Macc situation.
However.... All FL clubs have to project their budget on wages "potentially" in July and supply this to the FL.
For the second season running, in March, Coley has been quoted, deliberately no doubt, having the second smallest budget in the division.
It's true, if you go by what they lodged in July.
BUT! As last season, they have signed a total of FIFTEEN players in the loan system, do all these play for nothing? Do they heck. So they have had a cash injection in August and January for the second season running to allow them to play the loan system very well. Congratulations to them.

However, this n longer means they have had use of the second lowest budget in the division, this again is a smoke screen employed by Coley, same time as last season.
Radio Lancs used this so called FACT on Saturday and I pulled the gent concerned and worded him about its accuracy, as it isn't true.

Just saying...

How does a good chairman with no money make better performances on the pitch? I think it is more a case of a good Manager getting the best out of his players and a group of players playing out of their skins. Could be the chairman though.... :?

Following on from Freez's comments about Accy and their use of the loan system, I've often wondered if the parent club continues to pay their wages as in the main they are youth team players probably on a low wage.

I also thought that there was a maximum number of loanees that a club could sign in any one season.
