Sorry Jim but starting a home game with 7 defensive players is unforgivable.

Watch out for Jim Bentley's new book out in the summer: How to lose fans and alienate people..Mrs A says it's like watching walking football; she'd rather be reading her book.

0-0 at half time with plenty of attackers as subs. It might yet work but the substitutions are vital. This one is definitely down to Jim which ever way it goes.

I'd take 5 points out of 9. But I'd rather have 7 right now.

'See' you all next Friday. If we win against Swindon, I'll wear my Shrimps kit to the Toronto game.

And people ask why fans are staying away. We have just witnessed a Morecambe side point blank refuse to attack at home. It looked like the Ballboys had been told to piss about with it. It was a crime against Football...

You'd all be bloody moaning if we lost, Lincoln, fit, organised and well drilled and 7th, didn't win, and we hit the bar twice.

5 pts from possible 9, if we were all honest we would of taken that before the 3 home games.
Still got a game in hand on everyone below us apart from Chesterfield.
If we had lost them all we would be sat just above relegation in 22nd place.
Looked some very tired legs out there at the final whistle

Would have taken 5 points from the week before hand so very happy in that respect. Lincoln were organised, as were we.
But, it was a drab affair with some very poor football at times - no real entertainment from either side.

Baz told the ballboys to. Even vs Exeter at 0-0 he did and McGowan was rightly booked for time wasting. Baz should have been booked too. The time wasting we have done from minute 1 in all 3 games is shameful.
Not bad results recently and wanted 5 points from the 3 games, however we were too keen to defend over attack in the last few games. So frustrating and clearly Jim's tactic.
The keeper had the sun in his eyes second half with his hand constantly up - TEST HIM

Everything we are not.
Yes we hit the bar twice, one a deflection that looped on to the bar and the other was the only piece of quality in the 90mins.
We basically dicked about and time wasted for the entire 2nd half. 5 from 9 is decent but churning out performances like that to get them is poor.

Are all those calling for a more attacking approach sure that if we played that way we would not lose? A couple of weeks ago we were seriously in a battle to stay in league 2 and we are not out of the woods yet (though I think we will now be OK). If it means scrapping for every point against better teams than us until we are safe then so be it. If we were challenging for the play offs than I would whole heartedly agree that we should always attack at home but we are not in that situation we still need every point until we are safe. Not pretty, not entertaining but it is pulling us away from the dreaded drop (which the vast majority on here said they didn't want).

Wanted 9 from 9 but 5 from 9 is ok.
Have to agree that the fodder served up was boring with little attacking intent on our part.
Once again the outstanding player for us was Ben who we will be lucky to keep next season, just hope contract talks to retain him are on going.
Any questions as to why our gates are reducing were answered today and the management have to accept responsibility

If the Board ever wonder why attendances have been consistently falling for the last few years, this is one of he reasons.
