Interesting to see our former defender Mark Hughes is in the League 2 team of the year. No doubt he'll be having a laugh at being in a promotion winning side whilst we cling on to our league status. There seemed a lot of friction between him and Jimbo at the final whistle of the league game at the Globe earlier in the season.

.....BUT will he and a few others survive EFL1. Remember Coley hasn't got that good a record in that league.

Whilst I congratulate Accy on its promotion, I suspect they could find life in EFL1 very difficult although the huge increase in away fans will go some way to swell their coffers.

Ex Morecambe player Scott Brown in the Accy team too.

Aye, although he always tried when I seen him play for us, more of a work horse than a show pony.

I'm probably in a minority of 1 but I thought at the time it was a mistake by Jim to release him.

OK he is a pillock but a good defender.

I rated him, but credit where it's due, Jim's a good judge when signing especially defenders, and respect his reasons for getting shut of Hughes.

Well I would be very surprised if Coleman doesn't get an offer to manage a bigger club it might not have worked out at Rochdale but he's proved over the years what a good manager he is and he's done it on a small budget.

I remember one game in particular I thought he was out of order when he tore into Ryan Williams about his defending and thought he just picked on him because he was mild mannered and wouldn't have dared spoken to Kevin Ellison like that for doing the same thing.

Basically Bullying.

As recognised by many fans, he was a real tosser. Very good defender though and I think some fail to see that, although we seem to be doing ok in that department now since his leaving. Always been shocked by how successful Scott Brown has been at Accrington. Thought he looked a very mediocre player when he was with us, although he was part of the Sammy spiral season.

Wouldn't be surprised if he is the first on Coleys list of released players , no where good enough for L1
