Conceding late on

Does anyone know how many points we have given away this season by conceding late on say after the 85th min. I reckon it must be close to 9 points for a guess. Which all comes from sitting back to much and trying to hold on.

I always used to be told that the best form of defence is to attack. Our management team obviously do not agree with this and get the team to sit back and absorb the pressure. Unfortunately, this has cost us precious points- I can think of Mansfield winning in injury time, Stevenage equalising near the end, Crewe winning late on, Crawley equalising in stoppage time. That makes at least 6 points thrown away late on and there will be other games where we have conceded late. We will need a much more positive approach on Tuesday from a team whose win ratio is abysmal, draws are no good to us at this stage. We have to attack but it is a concept alien to our negative management team. We've had enough of excuses. We have a squad on decent money, it's time they earned it!

i have said this many times before Jim has no idea of his best line up or e wouldt swap and change so much and has o idea of the rht tactics for winning matches ,in his plying days he was a good defender but he cant get his midfield and attackers to com up with the goods ,it could nd should cost him his job

One of the most telling stats for me is we've only scored the first goal in 11 matches this season out of 43. This is the lowest in the league. Combine this with the fact that we've scored the second least in the league and you have yourself a team fighting relegation.

Another stat shows that when we do actually go ahead in a game we only keep a lead for an average of 13 minutes per game. Again this is the lowest in the league.

In the light of Duffman's statistics if you were the Cambridge manager you would have your team having a right go at us from kickoff on Tuesday trying to get that first goal.

Duff man. ..a simpler way of checking if we care fighting relegation is a cursory glance at the league table

Could you tell the manager when you next see him and explain drawing your way out of it isn't the best tactic?

Firstly I hope that penalty miss at Carlisle doesn't bite us.

Crewe Home lost 1.0 in 85th minute
Mansfield A, lost 2.1, 88th minute - played really well to be fair.
Mansfield H, 1.0 up, lost 2.1 in 94th
Stevenage H, 1.1, 89th
Crawley A, 1.1, 93rd - crazy
Chesterfield H, 2.0 up, drew 2.2, 74th
Crewe A, lost 1.0, 88th another crazy

Yes, at least 9
