Just wondering how the management team are going to approach tomorrow's crucial game against Cambridge when a draw isn't what is required. Are we going to be bold and play an aggressive line up with Wylde and Ellison supporting Lang and McGurk or are we going to play a heavily loaded defensive side with an isolated attacker waiting for a hoof ball upfield? It's crunch time for management and players in our biggest game since we became a league club. I hope we try and take the game to Cambridge and attack them from the off but all too often this season our main focus has been not to lose the game. We have a pitiful win ratio and we desperately need our tenth win of the campaign if we are to avoid the drop. The stakes are high, relegation would mean most players are released and lets be honest many of them would struggle to remain in the Football League and as a non-league club we would not be able to afford the current management team. A win is vital so lets go for it and play on the front foot for the full 90 minutes.COYS.

I agree with your post fulwood shrimp.
How did we manage to get those home wins against Coventry, Wycombe and Exeter earlier this season?
By going on the front foot.
There are periods during every game when defending is obviously necessary, but like you, I don't like defending being an actual tactic for an entire game.
That just invites pressure which we have seen so many times this season, and then inevitably goals are conceded, often late on, with no time to recover.
I hope Jim has realised that a win against Cambridge means the job is done, and the Barnet game becomes irrelevant.
A draw is not enough v. Cambridge, because then we would have to get a draw v Barnet to stay up, but even more importantly, Barnet coming to the Globe on saturday with something to play for would be a very dangerous opponent.

Just hope that our management team have a game plan that concentrates on attack.
We played some decent stuff ON THE DECK v Carlisle which proves we can, so no excuses about the pitch or conditions please.
If we play with confidence and not with fear of the unthinkable then WE CAN DO IT....

I'd like to see a 4-3-3 just set out to attack:
Roche
McGowan Old Lavelle Conlan
Fleming Kenyon Rose
McGurk Lang Wylde
Just bloody go for them. Kenyon drops back and is purely a destroyer and give Fleming license to roam and be creative. Rose for some stability. The entire front three are good players who have the ability to play off each other and make things happen. McGowan and Conlan need to be bombing all game.

Regardless of the formation or the players chosen to start we have to play with a level of intensity and passion that has not always been seen, press them high up the park when we lose the ball win it back do it as a team not as individuals don't give them time on the ball close them down force them into lumping it forward and conceding possession instead of the other way about. Lets get the points we need tomorrow we don't want to be going into the Barnet game needing a result.

Luton's manager Nathan Jones called us the best side he'd seen there
Tomorrow, let's show why - fortune favours the brave
