Bloody excellent news.

I've kept on about getting Sam signed up....am over the moon with this deal.

Let's hope that the good news over the next days continues to roll in.

Interesting timing, considering we are not sure which league we will be playing in next season.
Sam must be confident that it will be EFL 2, or maybe he just likes being at MFC

Or maybe there is a clause to release him should the worst happen !

I suspect that both his Mum and Dad have been an influence in his signing a 2 year contract.

Ben Lavelle was and still is a well respected former player and i understand that Sam is very close to his entire family.

I also understand that his father is his agent and looks at the bigger picture rather than short term.

A certain Mr Amond was promised all sorts by his agent and ended up playing non league. Too many players are influenced by agents who are lining their own pockets in deals involving the players under their wings.

Great news that should give the team a boost before Saturday's crucial encounter.

Very Good news!

And if we do go down the future captain and rebuild a young team to bounce back .

Some agents. Not all agents. Any 99/100 they'll be responding to the clients brief about what they want to get, which is usually the most money on the longest contract.

Would be fitting if Sam got the goal that sealed our EFL survival.
