Grimsby and Barnet both changed their management. Morecambe stuck with the same and are paying the price.

His management of our squad abilities this season has been appalling. We have a very good bunch of centre backs, Lavelle was excellent today and handled Akinde incredibly well for most of the game. So why do we need to stick two defensive midfielders in front of them?

We've not scored goals this season because we can't link defence to attack. Jim has down nothing to address this and plugged along with the combination of Kenyon and Rose. Our strikers have had nothing to go off all season and it's an absolute miracle we've got a couple of players on double figures. Of course Oliver looks like p*ssed off half the time, we're pumping balls at his head with no one around him. At the Carlisle game a couple of weeks ago, we played Fleming and for the first time in ages I thought we were better in midfield than the opposition. If we go down this season, it'll be down to our ridiculous defensive tactics, Jim trying to sure up and already very good defence leaving us with no creative outlet to get forward.

Awards night should be interesting!

I do not understand the inconsistencies in team selection. Why after being ignored all season has Campbell been picked to start the last two games? Why, when he has shown little ability and little appetite for the game has Oliver been brought on to contribute nothing? Why has Wildig been consistently ignored? Why after a bright game the other week has Fleming been left on the bench. This squad has enough ability if handled properly to be at least a mid-table side. Serious questions need to be asked.

The most disgusting thing was after being beat by a side which in my opinion were poor did the management not want to come and see the fans at the end of the game.
We were told that no one was coming out to see the fans last game of the season and only was for Kenyon to come out and show his face along with Roche did the rest follow.
Where is Jim and also if my eyesight saw right did Ken try to insist the players didn't come out to see us.
Fair play to Kenyon and in my opinion had the bollocks to stand up for what is right, all the kids were seen by the players which was good
to see, isn't it the captain who should speak out?

Indeed, this is one to remember and remind Jim's apologists next time he whinges about lack of support. Jim, it's your negativity and poor management that have caused hundreds of fans to walk away. Do us a favour and do the same now if you really love Morecambe. We've had enough of it.

I totally agree. That was disgraceful from Jim and Ken (who was skulking around by the tunnel). Thanks to all those players for coming over and to Captain Kenyon for leading them.

In the interview he said “ he may not be here next season”

Would have had more respect if they had of come over and said, we were shit, there's no excuse, thanks for your great support and sorry we let you down, to send over the security on several occasions and saying nowts happening is a disgrace.
Again fair play Kenyon in leadership skills and doing the right thing despite going against the wishes of those above him, thought Flemings words to us fans were great to hear and shame he's been a fringe player for us this season.

If we get relegated and they don't get sacked, I doubt I'll come to many games, if any at all.

It is a sad day in the clubs history,but its been coming for the last 3 years.It is not fun or entertaining anymore.None stop hoof the ball and chase it is all we do!

For what it's worth I'll still be there next season come what may. Like others I've been following our club too long to walk away when times get rough.

My future son in law supports Scorborough and knows what it's like to keep supporting your club when it's at its lowest point but he's remained loyal despite his club having to play home games at Bridlington until this season when they have returned home.

If Jim and Co go, then for me and a few others it's Drummy and Kevin to take over.

Their are a number of exciting younger players in the club and if we have to rebuild a squad of a mixture of youth and experience that will develop over a few seasons in order to get us back into a promotion winning team then so be it.

Unfortunately I may not be around long enough to see it.....

I'd prefer an experienced manager next.

For me the book starts and stops with Peter mcguigan! From the moment he put the club up for sale and the whole saga that followed has left the club on its arse. I had no problems with him trying to recoup all or some of the money he put in, but the fact he attempted to sell the club to some one with out all the money up front is bizarre!

Moved us to the Globe arena to make us self sufficient (Easyer to sell) but a lack of facilities in a characterless stadium has kept people away and the attendances show that. In turn the playing budget is a pittance of what it should or could be. Jimbo has worked nothing short of miracles with what he has had to work with and I thank him for that, but the negative tactics and worrying about nullifying the opposition instead of putting them to the sword has created a very dull and pointless brand of football.

As much as it pains me to say this Accy on a budget not to dissimilar to ours play the total opposite type of football always on the attack and putting the opposition under pressure. A squad full of loanees like ourselves with a manager looking to get the best out of them by putting his full trust and faith in them and not leaving them on the bench as bit part players.

Never have I ever felt so deflated as far as MFC is concerned even after playoff defeats (even Dag & Red away in the league 2) This club is probably the best thing this town has left of it and we the fans need to be the 12th man come Saturday away at Coventry. With the news the board will lay on free coach travel to the Ricoh, tell friends, family and colleagues, share it on social media and place posters far and wide. Let's get the town behind the club and drag them over the line to secure another season in the football league and regroup over the summer!

Neither of them have any sort of managerial experience... it would just be deja vu like with Jim if they took over, neither ever managed a first team side. I think it says it all when players like Gerrard, Vieira, Zidane etc... (the masters of the game) aren’t even trusted to be managers instantly after their retirement, so why should Kev and Drummy?
