I think parachute payments to relegated league 2 clubs are 100% of usual payment in the first season and 50% in the second season, just saying

The parachute payments don't seem to help though if you look at the experience of Torquay, York, Darlington, Dagenham.

Im worried we have no plan off the field for going down this season, I mean do we even have a plan at all? I think we are so unstable going down this year will leave us in a really dark place, if we can even just avoid relegation for one more year and get our house in some kind of order during next season so if we go.fown next year at least we have some foundations.

The Board have no plan, and havn't had one for years. Their only "plan" is to sell the club to someone with money who can pay off the existing directors/loans, cover the £750k p.a. losses for a few years, AND invest in the club to improve the stadium/player quality. Realistically, there's a very small chance of finding someone like that. Their talk of the club being "worth" £4m shows just how out of touch they are.

Something that may be hugely influenced by relegation would be the youth setup which many people who worked incredibly hard to get off the ground in the past few years.

Relegation would mean all the funding we get for this would stop and I can’t see the club being able to finance it themselves. Would be a shame if we have to shut the academy.

If tge worst happens then are we better off going into administration so someone can pick us very cheap leaving money to invest like Keith mentions on the other thread.

But what else can the board be expected to do then? As you point out, the club is a massive financial black hole and none of the board have the money to secure its future. As I see it, all they can do is either carry on treading water and pray for a knight in shining armour or just all walk away and leave the club to die and (hopefully) phoenix at a grass roots level at some point.
