G50

Now that G50 have sold its shares in our club to the new guys, i wonder if they will continue as Board Members especially as over the last few months they have spoken of how they have become real fans of the club.

If they decide to move on, then for me they deserve our thanks for seeing us through the recent season as well as Abdul and his family for his financial backing when all seemed doom and gloom.

For myself I feel we have to give the new guys all the support we can. Yesterday it was good to see one them celebrating alongside the players, manager and current Board on the field after the game.

All criticism of the past and of members of the Board need to be put to bed once and for all.

This is for me the rebirth of our club at all levels and to constantly hark back to what has gone on off the pitch has at times sounded like some personal vendettas that we need closure on.

Good luck and best wishes to our new owners. Do us proud...please!!!!

We are still led by a chairman who has lost us part of the ground and brought us where we were yesterday, 5 goals away from the conference. You keep sucking up to the top table but some of us will never be back until there's some changes.

That's your choice.

However PMcG is Chairman only in name. He has no control over his other Board members so maybe decisions will now be taken as a collective.

I'm not going to stray from thanking PMcG for at the very least getting us into the EFL with his personal financial input which has cost him dearly both financially and in his personal life.

Others will take a completely different view which I can accept.

Just be thankful that we retained our EFL status however it was achieved...

We can't change what has happened so time for us ALL to move on to the next chapter of OUR club.

Only in name, an interesting comment. So far he's taken us to the brink of relegation only saved by a handful of goals. Lost his own company that owned property and the security block to the administrators. Sold his shares to Diego. And the new owners keep him in place.

What don't we know?

EFL status, the word is relieved.

Why? Not all of us believe everything that comes out of the boardroom so when someone like you comes along with your comments about the board, frankly I find it embarrassing.

You raised the name.only subject, something no one else has mentioned. Care to explain what you mean or are you going to avoid that direct question like you do all the rest?

So we're still in the league. Great. But at what cost.

As you say, time will tell and I hope I'm wrong but for now, I'm not believing anything being spouted.

What has gone in the past is history.

New owners...new beginnings....just try and embrace what is a new chapter in our clubs history.

PS If I'm wrong I'll be the first to come on here and admit I got it wrong....

You never admit you are wrong about anything CC, and who gave you the authority to tell us all to draw a line under anything, the same person who told you to demand 110 percent effort, off the players ?

As I expected, avoiding a direct question as usual. My question isn't about past or future, it's the present. I'll give you one more chance. What do you mean by name only?

And why are you stating that the club has affected the chairman's personal life CC ?

The chairman seems to work in two year cycles making his speech about how we now have stability in the club when we actually don't. He made the speech as the Diego fiasco unfolded, then there was the Abdul nonsense when we were told he would finance us for two years and didn't. Now the latest buy out in which as I understand it we have pawned the carparks etc. My question is what happens in two years time if we haven't paid back the money borrowed against the land? Will we then have lost this land to property developers? The chairman is quickly running out of assets and I am anxious what state we will find our club in when he ceases to be chairman.

Can we have no more replies please until CC answers questions about his personal comments towards PMG. Don't want to give CC an excuse that he didn't see them. Cheers :?:

CC's posted a few times this morning, doubt he actually has an answer to his personal comments about the chairman's life or why he's chairman in name only.

I think the club should set up a CC Forum evening :?:

Don't forget the 2013 audited accounts where he said in his director's report that they had a 3 year plan to break even! It's nothing new. Let's hope there is a real plan this year as there certainly wasn't in 2013!

“In three years I think we’ll be selling more shirts in Shanghai than we do at the ground at the moment.”

“No other club is trying to do what we’re doing. We’ve registered Morecambe Football Club in China. Part of our website will even be in Chinese”.

On selling the club to Lemos 18 months ago.

"The sale will also include the profitable leisure business which is an integral part of the club and facilitates the training and coaching of our first-team squad, Elite Player Performance Plan scholars and youth development (ages 8-16 years). In addition, the business allows the hiring of the all-weather facilities each evening and weekends."

Seriously Neil it is time you gave up posting again. This is just embarrassing.

You want to pass on our thanks to the people who brought Diego Lemos into the club? Who nearly bankrupted us? Who brought people like Peter Harrison into the club? Who told the FA they would fund the club for two years but only lasted two months? Who did absolutely nothing to help save the club and brought us to the brink of administration this season?

Posh I sometimes do wonder how many of your posts are a personal vendetta against PMcG for whatever reason. I listened to you go on about all that is and has happened in the running of our club all the way to Coventry and I have to wonder where you get all your information from that appears to come from the Boardroom or is pure speculation on your part.

You rarely have a good word to say about any of the clubs officials and seem to take exception to anybody who appreciates the contribution made by PMcG and others over the years who without their financial contribution its unlikely that EFL football would ever have been enjoyed at both CP and The Globe.

No doubt you'll answer this post with yet another personal attack on myself for speaking out....whatever.

I can't be bothered responding to any more character assassinations by you and others but by all means feel free to continue..... :(

Not a character assisanation but 2 simple questions to your previous posts CC that you have so far chosen to ignore.

You have stated that MFC has made PMGs personal & business life suffer. How?

You have also stated that PMG is chairman in name only. What do you mean by that?

2 simple questions asking for information behind your statements.

Quite amusing you cower behind your character assassination comments in an effort to avoid questions yet your comments themselves can be seen as character assassinations on the chairman. Enjoy the fans forum, I'm sure the chairman will be looking out for you.

I think you’ve just proved my point.

Thankfully, as many people will know, I have many times offered thanks and gratitude for the work of Morecambe directors past and present and the many employees. I’ve also had the pleasure of working with them professionally.

As regards PMG, without going into any detail and based on personal experience, I do believe that for a long time now he’s been the problem and not the solution. Without any shareholding in the club, in my view it would make sense now to find a replacement, take the thanks of fans and allow someone else to take the club forward.

Glad I could keep you entertained on the journey down. What you heard was all based on conversations with people within the club and from publicly available information.

As for personal attacks, I think everyone knows the undeserved abuse and negativity you’ve given to Jim and Ken over the years. Something that I know that has affected them, officials and players. So, if you think suggesting you stop posting or shouting nonsense is “character assassination” I suggest you get a thicker skin.
