Today, Jim Bentley took over the managers job of this cash strapped football club and to be fair worked wonders with what we have and had . I'm not sure any other manager would have put up with what he has and his passion shows as he is about to take over as the second longest serving manager in the the top four tiers of English football.
BLOODY WELL DONE JIM, I hope one day ( maybe this coming season) you will actually have some means of competing in the transfer market !!!

I haven't always agreed with Jim's tactics but the fact is that we are still in League two. He has got the results through a very difficult period for our club.

Spot on!

I agree with Paul. There are times that I find his tactics frustrating and wish he'd sometimes be more adventurous and confident. Keeping us in the Football League with a budget that isn't even a good one for Conference North is amazing. I'd love to see what he could do with a decent budget... preferably with us!

Congratulations to the second longest serving manager in the Football League!

Jim's not had an easy time while the club has tried to get itself in a position to be self sufficient. We all know how that's gone which makes it even more incredulous where we still are. Well done Jim.

So if Tisdale goes, and Jim has a bigger budget, how long can he reign as longest serving manager (bearing in mind it only stands while Morecambe remain a league club)? I hope he does the business in the market over the summer, and his new team does the business on the field next season.
