Shrimps to develop overseas links

See the OWS for details.

Here's hoping that this is a success. In the well put together promotional brochure it mentions the club's 3G pitches. Does this suggest that the issue of ownership of those behind the Globe has been resolved, if so excellent? Or are the club going to use the College's facilities?

Whichever the club use, I commend the club with it's ambitious plans. Maybe we could unearth some excellent untapped talent. Here's hoping!

How many times in the past have we been promised overseas deals CC.

Our Youth coaching people have been coaching and playing matches in Canada and Spain this Summer which suggests it is a rather more meaningful promise.

The Youth team achieved a very creditable 1-1 draw with La Liga side Real Betis first team.

Oh you cynic! Have some faith in what our Youth set up are putting together. At least it shows some ambition that other bigger clubs can't match. Well done to all those concerned.

It was against their youth team but still a great result.

Which 'where'?
On the IoM they held training sessions in Ramsey during the Easter school holidays.
I was going to go down and take some photos but decided that Child Protection & Data Protection would be a hassle so didn't bother!

Is this a scheme to attract talent, or to raise cash by getting rich parents to send their kids to a summer football school in the UK?
