Quinny providing IFollow commentary today so no texts I’m afraid.
I have a surprise party for family member, need to in Heysham at 7pm so that wasn’t going to happen, and though we all take it seriously there are more important things, like family?
So sorry we are not around, feel free to post the teams on here and get the banter going, I’ll be listening...

Our continuing belief that Oliver will begin to score goals is unbelievable. Our handling of Oswell seems an object lesson in how not to handle a keen, enthusiastic, newly signed striker.

Our continued belief in starting Kev and Mandeville, yet both have been, let’s be honest, uninspiring (especially Kev, who looks a shadow of his former self) at best. I believe Liam has a chance to be good for us, but why not start Oates instead of Kev? He’s looked pretty decent imo

I can't believe Oliver is starting again. Oates and Oswell on the bench. There's no hope today. What is JB doing!

Watching and listening on ifollow. Loud and clear though expect another defeat now.

Exactly, but why are you being soooo negative? It’s not like we’re bottom of the league with a huge negative goal difference... Trust in Jim! :o :(

I detect a smidgen of sarcasm. The smidgen'll morph massively if we lose heavily today. There's stubbornness and loyalty, but surely this is going too far now.

Morning folks. I know it may be early still, but would've like to see Oswell start.

You know what's great about Stevenage?

No, no. I'm asking.

We won't have to suffer the sight of Graham Westley now.

Jimbo said last week Oswell needs time. Time for what? It's not like he's come from another country and doesn't speak English. It's beyond strange for me why we persist with Oliver.

Agreed. Jim says Oswell isn’t experienced at league 2 level yet, so is reluctant to play him in a league game, but was perfectly happy to play him against Championship opposition on Tuesday?

Jim seems to favour players with lots of L2 experience because they’ll be a safe pair of hands, hence playing Kev, Thommo etc, and whilst they may be solid enough, none of them are phenomenal when they play so I don’t understand what we’re missing out on in trying some of the newbies?

If you look at the the last 15+ years of Conference teams getting promoted, there are very few teams that go straight back down which says something about the quality of the league. Call me crazy but I'd take the "gamble" on the player that has scored 25 in 40 on the league below than play someone who's scored 4 in 54 week in week out regardless of how bad he plays.

"A quality goal"
"Came from nowhere"
"Difficult to point a finger of blame at anyone"
"Morecambe were looking so good, they were getting on top".
