No, seriously! :D

Other than Barry himself, the sending off could actually be a positive for the team. A great display from all of them last night and three points will lift the monkey off their backs and the sending off led to a real rearguard battle too, so I’m sure the whole squad will be buzzing. I bet they can’t wait for Saturday! Hopefully they will spend the rest of this week on a high and go in to the match on Saturday brimming full of confidence and a ‘we can beat anyone’ attitude!

Agreed Keith , the best alround performance I have seen for a long time , good to see the ball being played on the pitch and not constant long balls. Every member of the team deserved a MOTM but that rightly went to multitalented Alex :D .

It's great to see everyone on here saying that they enjoyed the match. Well done to the whole team including the management team :D :D It has to be a confidence booster which is all important in every sport.

Sometimes an awful start to a season can be a blessing in disguise.

Let's hope Jim realises that last night's formation and personnel is the way to go and that he doesn't revert to Vadaine and the long ball.

On the subject of contracts a number of our new signings are on 2 year deals in addition some of our existing players like Old and Lavelle signed 2 year contracts.

I hope that Mills and A-Jay are both given extensions soon so that we don't lose them next Summer.

Included both Gomes and Jagne in that wish for me.

The team worked brilliantly well together last night, but the way they came together to protect/support Kenyon in those last few minutes was something special. It showed we have a team of character and the beginnings of a real sense that they may indeed "walk through walls" for the club. I don't think I've ever been so excited and scared at the same time as those few minutes of extra time. Losing (or even a draw) would have been a disaster for morale etc., so it was fantastic to see the strength of character to keep going after they were all completely knackered and where our teams of the last few seasons may well have just dropped heads and given up. A real triumph over adversity last night.
