Having had a butchers, gander, dekko, sken and clapped eyes on the article, complementing with thedoc's writings, it should give any 'lost' fans who read them a nudge into coming down to the Globe to see for themselves.
That is why it is important to keep the style of play upbeat. If 100 fans return and enjoy what they see, they go to work the next week and tell their mates who hopefully decide to give it a go.
Obviously it might take a few matches for the squad to gel into this type of play fluently but last nights performance showed real promise and crowds might slowly return to the level of 1800 home fans plus away support.

A few points I noticed from last nights game..
The passing between the players was generally excellent- crisp, fast and mainly for the player to run on to, combined with the ability to trap it quickly meant a little more composure, although sometimes we needed to move off a little quicker in midfield. Northampton were a big side that closed down quickly
and it was good to see our players having confidence on the ball as previously players got rid like a hot
potato, usually straight to the opposition.

In the first half before we scored the goal I thought there were 3 or 4 opportunities for similar balls to the one from which we scored. The front players seemed to be ready and looking for the through or chipped ball, and you could see the look of disappointment when the ball was passed sideways or backwards. This delay enabled the opposition to re-establish their 2 lines of 4 defence. With more time
playing like this hopefully an understanding will be second nature, creating more opportunities.
(John Norman-JustinJackson type stuff if we're lucky! )

Surely Baz can work a little more on kicking the ball with a lower trajectory ! At times last night their goalkeeper kicked the ball 60-70 yards without it going more than 12-15ft high. This gives the attacker a better chance of getting something on the ball, whereas waiting for it to come down from 50-60 feet
gives the opposition the edge. It was noticeable last night that sometimes our forward players did not even try to compete for these type of balls.

Just my opinion...we all have our own.

So Alan, how do you fancy a regular View from the Tropical Fish Shop section?!

Sam can deputise when you can't make it to the game.
