0-2

Mills error for the second. Headed the ball straight up in the air, then fell over, leaving their lad with a simple finish.

I was about to write that it been very even until the first goal. They capitalised on a mistake and we never really got control after that. Oldham putting crosses in early which we're struggling with.

Superb save from their keeper! Really could have done with that going in. They've had two good chances and scored two, we've had three good chances, one great save, one hit the post & one lifted over the bar after lobbing the keeper.

We've played some nice football.

Thanks Keith. Your summary fits in with the stats too. I really don't think that this is the time to start berating Jim or the players. Carry on in the second half in much the same way (but try to stop them scoring again), and KEEP PLAYING DECENT FOOTBALL.

I don't want to lose, but surely long term, playing football "the right way", we will start to get the results that will see us climb the table.

Easy to say from 2000 miles away I know, but that's what I believe.

Totally agree.

We've started well, still playing nice football in the second half. Their keeper with another excellent save.

Oldham had their first chance of the second half, good save, then cleared off the line.

AGGHHHH!!!

AJ one-on-one but keeper managed to save! Great chance. Seven left plus time added.

Don't deserve this.

Bloody hell!
Another great save from their keeper. Wildig MotM although I would have gone for Mills but can't argue.

I know a leopard can't change it's spots but BS from BS as usual

We played really well. Their keeper made three or four really good saves, we hit the post and lobbed the keeper only to see the ball drop just the wrong side of the bar. They had three good chances and scored from two of them. With a little bit of luck, we'd have scored four or five. We also played some excellent football, quick, snappy passes on the ground. Every player put in a good shift.

Carry on playing like that and we'll give someone a pasting soon.

We played well, but we lost.
Chesterfield played well last season and went down.
We need to be more ruthless and start winning games

Agreed but it is a start for us to play well. It is very early in the season and, as Keith says if we keep playing well and at least some of the results will go our way. Let's not bang on about relegation yet

Playing well is ok but we lost simple as

We have scored 1 goal in 5 league games that's not good enough

Played well and deserved to score. Game lost in 2minutes.

The players are running their socks off especially Manderville, Wildig and Fleming.

I have seen enough this week to think we will stay up.
