No answer, just another dig.

Not at the game.
Doesn't get iFollow to watch/listen.
Can't wait to text Radio Lancashire calling for a new manager.
Bets £100 that Morecambe will lose, then gloats that it is easy money.

Jim could not have picked a better side today they gave it a good go and was just unlucky.

Its all i ask for, i don't expect to win every game and everyone sat around me and at the bar after the game felt just the same.

So put a Pie in it Blackpoolshrimp

I can't be too critical of Jim today. They had about 2 serious attempts at goal and they both went in although one of our best players on the day , Mills , played a part in the 2nd goal.

On another day , A-Jay slots his superbly controlled ball past the keeper , the lob over the keeper in the first half goes under the bar instead of over and Ellison's header either goes in or a forward knocks it in at the far post. They had 4 yellow cards to our none as well.

My only criticisms would be he should have had Mendes-Gomes on earlier and he really needs a better option than Oliver to bring off the bench if we are looking for goals,

For me a fair and honest assessment of the game as seen from the management teams point of view. However it would be nice if the constant referral to previous games could be curtailed as we all know by now that we probably deserved something v Exeter (not sure about Stevenage as media reports suggest we were poor) but most definitely deserved at the very least a point v Oldham. Personally, regarding their goalkeeper, I can't understand how the ref gave them a free kick and then books the goalkeeper who clearly butted our lad! JB was being very diplomatic about the incident.

As for John's comments, he like others is allowed to express his thoughts without some of the negativity towards him.

It feels like Groundhog Day but...

John doesn't have his comments censored, he's been allowed to express them.

But equally, if he posts negative comments, without seeing the game, then also, other people (including me) are entitled to say, he's talking bollocks. He intimated that he wasn't going to go down this route if he was let back on to the forum, but he's already at it. He was on to Radio Lancashire before most people at the game had left the ground, without seeing the match yesterday. Anyone who saw it knows that we should have won, or at minimum, got a draw. Yesterday wasn't the time to be calling for the manager to be sacked, it was a day to say 'that was an entertaining game and we were unlucky. Play like that and Tuesday every game and we'll soon start winning games'. In other words, it was a time to be supportive.

If John wants to stop the negativity towards him, then he needs to stop the constant negativity towards Morecambe FC.

Obviously I didn't hear him on Radio Lancashire. Is that really what he was saying?

Let's not forget that there are regulars on SVs who don't for various reasons get to the games but express an opinion that may not be shared by the majority and may not actually reflect the game itself. But they base their comments on media outlets that sometimes contradict the post match assessment of JB who along with his fitness coach and medical team are in possession of all of the facts concerning the fitness of players during games.

I don't know about other 'exiles' but some of my views are formed by a few individuals on here whose report of the games, over the years, I have come to trust. Likewise some views of others I take with a pinch of salt.

Text message, words to the effect of "another defeat, time for a change" or something similar.

And I'm often one of those. But if someone expresses an opinion, without being at the game, which has no basis in reality, then don't be surprised when people who did see the game, challenge it. And if you gloat about putting £100 on Morecambe to lose and it being 'easy money', then don't be shocked if that pisses people off and makes them question whether that person actually wants Morecambe to lose! If you've got £100 bet on, then you are either wealthy or you want to win the bet. Here's a thought, instead of betting £100 against Morecambe, spend half of it on an iFollow subscription and then at least you can follow the game and some of the money will go to the club.
