Michael Rose

Michael Rose

I know he wasn't as effective last season as the season before but looking at us today at Bury we lack any leadership on the pitch and I wonder if Michael Rose could have done another season with us and helped the side to compete in midfield?

Easy saying this in hindsight?

At the time i thought Jim made the right decisions with the players released, apart from Brough.

With Rose, we brought Tutte in and if he'd not pulled his hamstring we might not be having this thread.

I don't know if releasing Rose was a good move or not. I do know we have a leaderless team playing hoof ball and losing most games. The "whipping boys of League 2" to quote Geoff Stelling. Tutte is off a long time with a tight hamstring. I hope he can provide the leadership that is sorely lacking.

Reminds me of the Paul Scott situation who we also signed from Bury back in 2010.

How do we know that Tutt is off for some time :?: Inside info or pure speculation :?:

Wonder what has happened to Kendal Shrimp or whatever he was called? He seemed to have the inside track on things and although annoying at times some of his snippets of info proved correct.

Hamstrings are normally 6 weeks rest, and sometimes if you rush people back and they pull it again, your back to square one.

I understand that he tried to reinvent himself to be a wee bit more conciliatory....but finds it bloody hard

His long wife threatened to disown him and his daughter was making moves to put him in a home for the bewildered.
