With the exception of offences in the goal area, throughout the Laws every free kick is awarded from the place where the offence occurs so it is logical that this should also apply to offside.

Just re-watched the goalkeeper dropping the ball. Absolutely no way that it was a foul, no Morecambe player challenging. He landed awkwardly and let go of the ball, simple as that.

Re-watching our goals. Eight Morecambe passes before Piggott slotted it in to the bottom corner!
