Listening and watching in HK. Oliver to score again and continue the roll
Those kits are bound to cause confusion. Never seen that before. Like a yin yang kit. Morecambe are clearly the yin as it rhymes with win.

Totally agree. It's frankly unacceptable, and surely will confuse the officials as well.

For those of us without a sight of the Swindon kit, what exactly (or approximately!) are they wearing?

Us - red shirts, black shorts, black socks.
Them - the exact same colours black, black and red socks
Everyone's gonna have a headache after this

Yes. Just looked at the Swindon website. Amazed that is allowed as a change kit, as they would only need to wear that when they come up against a team wearing red. Weird, and amazed that the referee hasn't insisted on a different kit.

Just seen that Crewe v Mansfield has been postponed because of insufficient players.
Anyone know anything about that?

Looks like it might be another frustrating game with chances that just can't be put away.

If the lads can't take advantage of being a man up then we're in big trouble this season.

The way we're playing I'd be disappointed if we don't score at least 2 in the 2nd half.

Three players on international duty so they can postpone the match.

We've got a definite relegation look now. Some of the players have got a decent cv, but they aren't gelling as a team.

I think P'Hound has a good point. We currently appear to lack an on-field leader. I have always thought it wrong to have a G/K as captain - you need an outfield player. Do we have anyone who could fill that role???????????????

Today we played poor, some of the final balls were shocking.... Swindon had the best chances even when they had 10 men and Barry made 3 excellent saves.
We need to sort this slump out very quickly.

Oddly I think we’ve got some very good players but I don’t think Jim knows how to play them. Mandeville should be playing down the middle but is on the right; Oates is good but not fit enough to start a match.... I could go on but we’re not playing as a team and there is no leadership.
Whether you want Jim to stay or not I think he’s got two matches left to prove he can turn it around.
For those wanting him out though I think the leadership off the pitch is far worse. Two long-distance owners, a clueless Chairman and some local directors with no power. So, don’t expect any bold moves.

Mandeville is class, id be tempted to start him as a center forward with Smith.
But today, at least we looked to attack Swindon, was unlucky against a good team.
Felt for Jim today, frustrating.

Frustrating, if we'd pipped a goal in the last 10 mins of the first half when they were all over the place I think we could have ended up cruising.
No excuse for the lethargy of the second half display though. Yes, they tightened up and were an effective unit but for gods sake, they had 10 men! We moved the ball slowly, did the MFC classic of waiting on the opposition box for a Hollywood Pass. No width or shape, we didn't stretch them or shift them around at all. Crossing and passing for the most part was appalling and nothing we hit stuck. Barring that save in stoppage time, their keeper caught everything that came his way. Pathetic attempts at goal. We seem to scuff all our shots!
From a team point of view, there is no coordination to our play and movement. We don't pass men/pressing along at all, it's just randomly chasing opposition players. Then there's no succinct rotation at all in our team, we just look a mess.

Why the ---- was Oliver not taken off at halftime, after that glaring miss, which he should have gone with his head ive no idea, this guy is going to cost Jim his job.

Disagree about Jim, he's going to cost himself his own job with team selections. I've always been a Jim in, but even I'm beginning to waver but, who to take the job on. As for Oliver, how does that man even get in the starting squad. On today's performance Sunday league.

Thought any player could be recalled at any time if required by their own club.

I think Jim will regret his persistence with Oliver. It could well lead to his sacking!
