The Moody Blues had their first hit with Go Now. Perhaps Mr Bentley might want to listen to it this evening ?

He should just DO IT! This year has been terrible, we stayed up by the skin of our teeth last season. This time we will need snookers by Christmas to stay up unless he Goes now

If he waits till he's pushed, he gets a payout. I've left rather than suffer a situation in the past, (albeit not of my own making) but I wouldn't be looking at the payout Jim can expect if he's forced out. Barring a serious breach of contract, he'll never walk and it'll cost to fire him, so you most might as well give up.

Well, if Tom and Jerry (or whatever they're called) were at the game, then you might get your wish!

Will the owners give Jim three more game? We should be looking at seven points from those three matches

Jim hasn't had the dreaded vote of confidence yet. Until that happens surely he's safe.

It's not just our losing games but our inability to score goals that gets me. It is also obvious that teams know to shoot from a distance and they will have a good chance to score against us. We are in a mess and the manager seems unable to do anything about it. He keeps picking a striker who cannot score his share of goals and tactically we are away with the fairies. Relegation by Christmas looms unless drastic action is taken.

Mr Bentley’s playlist should also include.

I believe in miracles. Hot Chocolate
Good riddance. Green Day
Bye Bye Bye. NSync
It’s over. Boz Scags
Chasing the wind. Chicago
Learn to say goodbye. Dusty Springfield

More suggestions would be appreciated.

Seems crazy to describe a game in September as a 6 pointer, but that really is the case against a struggling Macc. Win and we have a glimmer of hope, lose and I'm afraid we really are a basket case with very little hope. Sad but true.

This is nothing new, not just a short term blip. It is a slow death, a painfully long decline. Winning the next game changes nothing, winning one game in every seven is the problem. We keep witnessing the same mistakes but forever live in hope of it changing. How puddled are we?

I hope the hardened away support told the new owners exactly what they thought today but as I said a few weeks a go, sacking the manager is too big a ball ache for everyone involved. They don't want the hassle. Nobody is arsed and Jim has free reign to do as he pleases. They should make him Chairman as well.

I seriously believe that their options are limited due to the lack of finance to pay compensation and to attract a new 'outside' manager. IF and it's a big IF Jim decides that he can't get us out of the rut we find ourselves in, that the only honourable thing for him to do as he clearly loves our club is to resign, then the only option that would make financial sense is an internal appointment and elevation of Drummy to manager with Kevin as his assistant and for Neil Wainwright to continue the excellent work of Drummy in the development of the youth at our club.

However assuming that finance was available to attract an external candidate, for me the ideal replacement would be former Rovers and Blackpool manager Gary Bowyer who has a reputation of promoting youth however the lack of a guaranteed month on month training ground could prove a major obstacale as he was very critical of the lack of suitable facilities at Blackpool even being reported to have financed out of his own pocket a suitable training facility elsewhere.

Its off the field of play thats been the root of the problem - the mistaken management of the club by the board spending millions of pounds and taking the club into debt.

The achievements on the field of play have been amazing to get the club where it is now in the EFL.

It was a miracle how Jim managed to keep us up last season in the wake of the non payment of staff and players.

What money has the board given Jim so far this season to acquire a quality goal scoring striker and creative midfielder?

The future of the club, like all small clubs, is in the hands of its coaching staff at grassroots level and development of local young players, something Gerry Irving and Edgey would tell you.

I assume your are referring to the move from CP to The Globe? From questions that I raised at a shareholders meeting regarding the cost of redeveloping CP it became clear that that was a non starter due to the financial cost involved and also the well intentioned move to a new purpose built stadium was seen as a progressive move by the Board. However subsequent financial happenings on a global scale affected the original plans that resulted in a far from perfect stadium that the Board have acknowledged on numerous occasions.

As for investment in the team, the new owners have cleared the outstanding debts and increased the managers budget we are told. Whether you believe that or not is up to you and others but although their silence is of concern maybe that is the way that our new owners prefer to do business. Maybe in the coming weeks their actions will show that they are in it for the long haul and not to asset strip as is the believe of some. After all the club has the safety valve of the Christie Trust to ensure survival of the ground at the very least.

Actually the football played in the main has been a lot better than previous seasons BUT we just can't score which reflects negativity in the performance by some. Fans just want to see us win and sod the performance at the moment. The Macc, Grimsby and Cheltenham games have to see us pick up at least 6 points if not the negativity will only increase irrespective of performance.

Nonesense

There is no evidence so far that the new owners have given Jimbo a budget to purchase a top quality goal scoring striker or a creative midfielder.

Redevelopment of Christie was progressing already. How much was spent on the beloved North stand?

The decision to move ground was not supported by the majority of long time loyal fans who had legit concerns which proved to be correct but sadly were ignored.
