Probably as i imagine Newcastle want him to come back a different player. After being with us they will hardly recognise him!al1 wrote:Anyone understand why Sam can not get a game ? Does Yarney have to start each game as part of his loan deal?

He reads the game so well.

I suspect it is part of the agreement with Newcastle that the loanee has to play and that Sam is the one to miss out which is criminal as he was one of the outstanding players last season. I believe that Yarney is the 13th choice centre half who we eventually managed to recruit during the summer, albeit on loan until January. His preseason with Newcastle promised so much but maybe he isn't ready for EFL1 having stepped up from Development and Reserve team action at Newcastle.
