with 20 league games left i think we still need 4/5 wins to be safe in my humble opinion...and with home games against luton,chester,barnet and bournemouth and away games at grimsby and macclesfield i am sure we are capable of getting them wins...we have got 4 out of next 6 at home so we need to make it count

And do you think all those teams will just lay down and let us win ?

Do you mean like we lay down and let Accy win last night Abbo? Let's hope that lessons from last night's game have been taken on board, absorbed and are acted on for the rest of the season, otherwise we will have to hope that other teams do lie down for us...

normally you need 45+ points to be safe from relegation, but this season id say 40 points should see us safe

However I would still like us to get to the magic 50 point mark and stay up on merit rather than because of other teams problems.

If I have worked this out right on our points per game we are on for 49 points which would be fine whatever season.

However at the moment if it was a normal season we would be 6 points off the relegation zone.

....as someone kindly pointed out to me only recently when I posted something similar....this season is what it's all about.

But I take your point and it's worrying looking towards next season.

Wonder what we would have been like IF Sammy had been able to bring in those much talked about new players? Would they ahve proved more effective than other signings of late?
