Does Beyond Radio provide updates and reports on our club?

I realise it's been in existence since 2016 and has been subject to a complaint to the Radio Authorities but tonight on the way home from our daughter's in Preston was the first time l by accident tuned into it and just wondered if it's community based ethos included coverage of local sport.

They have had Midds, Swidz, Matty D, and Glen on at various times in the past few months.
Part of the issue is if they do anything other than phone updates it needs a license I believe.
But they are pro local sport.

They Also have "Soulman Sim " AKA Gordon Simmons, an ex employee on match days at the Globe ,and shrimps fan, DJ'ing regularly anyone know him?

and is the Trevor Cook that does the lunchtime show the same guy who is the Shrimps Fan?

Why was there a complaint about them?

Too much music and not enough factual commentary on numerous topics as the complainer felt that as a community based radio the balance wasn't right. It was noted by the governing authority and the station was under constant revue as I understand it.

Blimey most people complain about radio that there is to much talking and not enough music

Soulman Sim...plays soul and talks mostly about cong fu!!!

And Mainy who posts on here now n again, but mainly on Facebook, he's done Morning Slots.
