I got a phone call from one Jim Taylor at Radio Five Live this morning about the Carlisle article I wrote for D3D4 football this week. He wanted to speak to Sam - the carer of Jordan (of whom I have included a picture in the article of them watching the game from United's disgraceful so-called `disabled' facilities in the pouring rain) personally about their experience at Brunton Park last Saturday. I have no contact details for Sam. Can anybody supply these? If you are reading this, Sam and want to contact the BBC, you can do so directly at
jim.taylor@bbc.co.uk or ring him on 0161 335 6506. He wants to run a feature about disabled facilities at lower league grounds in the UK tomorrow... Please spread the word.

It's bizarre how Carlisle haven't acted on this already. At the game on Saturday I was impressed that they provided free sanitary products in the women's loos, so they aren't entirely oblivious to the needs of their visiting supporters. I guess they just need things pointing out to them?
Of course a covered viewing area does cost a bit more than a few packets of tampax, but still..

... and having now read the other thread on this topic, I suspect it was probably Carlisle fans and matchday staff that initiated the women's products, rather than it being a club policy.

I got this e-mail from Jim Taylor from BBC Radio 5 live earlier:
Hi Roger
I’ve spoken to Sam and I think he’s going to be available to speak on the show tomorrow which is great, so thanks very much.
Jim
Thankyou all for your help in achieving this. I will be listening out for it...

If you find a 'listen again' link, please post it on here.
Well done on raising the issue. It was a good read generally too.

The link to what Sam said is
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0000q3cStarts at 40.21 into the broadcast. A guy from Chesterfield also talks about his experiences with a disabled wife. Very enlightening and well done Sam - excellent job!
