I've noticed a few people recently linking the club's lack of money with a lack of quality signings resulting in our low L2 finishes under Jim's stewardship. Below is a list of players Jim has signed who have gone on to play at a similar or higher level (let's not start on the Scottish standard debate). I'm of the opinion that Jim has actually signed some players with real quality. I'm not sure how much better he would realistically do with a big pot of cash (just look at Notts Co who've tried that!)
