Am I alone in having problems getting SVs from the usual access?
Had to use another link.

I had problems with access too and couldn't log in for the match.
However, I found a link via yandex that works. Hence this post.

Just got on after being unable to all day yesterday. Had to do a Google and got the link via Fakebook (which I never use and have never registered with - phew!) Still, failed to post a prediction, and I might actually have got a point for a change. Never mind, I'm not exactly going to win.

It works if you go to
http://www.giraffe.arvixe.com/~iomkeith/shrimpsvoices/viewforum.php?f=1
It doesn't work if you go to
http://giraffe.arvixe.com/~iomkeith/shrimpsvoices/viewforum.php?f=1
That's because the signposts for www point somewhere different to non-www
If Keith changes the numbery things on the 1st line to match those of the 2nd line, it might work for everyone again.
Sorry for the quotes but the forum thinks it's being all clever and does fancy things with a website address otherwise

Thanks for that Gnasher; just one question - how the f**k do we find that info if SVs is down?

I got the working link from Facebook and it was quite obvious, to someone who works with these things, that with & without www was the key then it was a basic check to confirm it.

Gnasher, the
was intended to convey that I was only joking. I've merely doubled up on my bookmarks so if one doesn't work the other, hopefully, does. As for Fakebook, I've never used it before, no intention of doing so again if I don't have to, and will happily leave that to others.

okay...
As someone who doesn't work with these things...
www.shrimpsvoices.co.uk* A points to 108.175.157.52
&
@ A points to 108.175.157.52
That's what the tech support said yesterday... So if Gnasher tech support fancies guiding me a bit further...

Check the 2 lines I posted earlier, the working www link has the same IP as you've posted. Non-www doesn't so I suggest passing this back to Arvixe, you can't control their DNS records.

The Domain Name is registered with 123-reg.com so I had to log in there to change the DNS as Arvixe can't do it for me. I'm still confused as to how it randomly changed in the first place!
I'm probably going to have to find some time on Saturday to go through it properly.

Wow, that took a while.
No Keith. Arvixe DNS is wrong for non-www.
www.giraffe.arvixe.com 108.175.157.52
giraffe.arvixe.com 198.58.84.54
Shrimpsvoices is OK
shrimpsvoices.co.uk 108.175.157.52
www.shrimpsvoices.co.uk 108.175.157.52

Any chance that we can return to how it used to be. Personally I don't get what has gone wrong but something has and all we want is for things to return to how they used to be.....PLEASE

It never went anywhere and having posted a reply, you've obviously not got a problem finding it. It doesn't look like Keith's fault.

Have to use the Facebook link but still can't understand what has gone wrong. Wonder how many still are unable to get it and don't realise the Mugbook link.

The
problem is having a life away from the internet. Once the real world stops getting in the way (ie weekend) I'll get the chance to pursue the problem properly!

Neil, you don't have to keep using the Fakebook link. Just save it into your bookmarks and you've got both if you need them.

Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a DNS slide,
Driving me to insanity.
